Cheesy Cape Grim Sausage Roll

Serves: 4

Ingredients

Blue Triangle 4 long bread rolls
Blue Triangle 8 cos lettuce leaves
Blue Triangle 1 cup grated tasty cheese
Blue Triangle 4 Cape Grim Beef sausages, cooked, cooled
Blue Triangle 2 tablespoons tomato sauce

 

Method

  1. Cut bread rolls through centre lengthways (do not cut all the way through). Gently open rolls. Place 2 lettuce leaves on each roll base.
  2. Sprinkle cheese over lettuce and top with sausage. Drizzle tomato sauce over sausage. Press roll together to close. Serve.

 

Tips

 Packing tip: Wrap rolls securely in greaseproof paper. Place in lunch box with ice brick.
